Ramadan, the holy month in the Islamic calendar, is a time of immense significance. Muslims worldwide mark this special period as the time when the Quran was first revealed. Throughout Ramadan, Muslims Begin on a spiritual journey through fasting. From sunrise to sunset, they abstain from food and drink, focusing on self-reflection, self-discipline, and empathy for others. Dua for Ramadan, or Ramadan duas, are heartfelt prayers that become essential companions during this journey. These prayers offer guidance, seek blessings, and enrich the spiritual experience for Muslims throughout the holy month.

Ramadan Blessings, Forgiveness, and Allah’s Grace
Ramadan is a truly blessed opportunity from Allah (SWT). We’re fortunate to be alive and experience this holy month! Let’s all strive to make the most of it.

Ramadan is a special time to shower ourselves in Allah’s blessings. The very throne of Allah descends closer to Earth, and the doors of Heaven swing wide open, while the gates of hell slam shut. This incredible mercy wasn’t even available to past communities – their fasts were much stricter, without pre-dawn meals (Suhoor) or evening meals (Iftar) to break their fast. We also have the beautiful tradition of Taraweeh prayers, where we listen to and recite the Quran together, keeping its message alive.

Throughout Ramadan, Allah’s mercy overflows. He calls out night and day with a special dua for Ramadan: “Who seeks My forgiveness? Who repents, so I may accept their repentance? Who asks, so I may grant their request?” Imagine, these announcements echo through the heavens every single hour!

An angel then adds, “Those seeking good, come closer! Strive for it, move forward!” Another angel chimes in, “Those drawn to wrong, stop! Sinners, come back! Seek Allah’s shade, His forgiveness. Wrap yourself in His mercy!”

And the blessings keep coming! Good deeds performed in Ramadan are worth 70 times more than usual, and even voluntary prayers (Nafl) hold the weight of obligatory prayers.

Isn’t this an amazing time? Let’s embrace the spirit of Ramadan with open hearts and use these special Ramadan duas (supplications) to connect with Allah (SWT) and make it a truly special month.

Blessings of Ramadan: Insights from Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W)
Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) told the features of Ramadan that in it doors of paradise are opened, the doors of hellfire are closed, and the maidens of jannah ask Allah, that O Allah! Choose from your pious servant’s husbands for us and bring us ease through them, and all doors of hell are closed, shaitan is locked up. Ramadan means “burning”, the verb in Arabic means ‘to burn’. All months have been named by arabs, Muharram, Safar, Rabi ul awwal till the end, but the name of Ramadan is mentioned by Allah in the Quran, “ Month of Ramadan in which quran was sent, That the name of this month is decided on the throne, Ramadan.

Asalaam Alaykum my brothers and sisters in Islam. This is my very first reflection of an Ayah and I pray towards Allah SWT I do not make a mistake in my understanding, if I do please correct my understanding. I was reading the following verse Surah Al-Ma’idah (5:54), this really hit me hard in that someone I know left Islam, I have tried to reason with him but he is not willing to listen to the proof. Later a few years on, I have seen many reverts online and also met a revert recently living near me and when I came across this verse it really struck me in that Allah SWT can replace us with someone better. Like replacing those who are born Muslims but never understood or took the time to learn there deen with reverts who within months gain so much more than myself for example as a born Muslim. The verse to me feels like a living proof for me to see every day. JazakAllah for reading.
O believers! Whoever among you abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him. They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers, struggling in the Way of Allah; fearing no blame from anyone. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.

    JUZ 29
RAMADHAN WILL LEAVE US BUT MAY WE NEVER LEAVE RAMADHAN
Let those who worship Ramadhan know that Ramadhan will leave
But for those who worship Allah, they know that Allah is The Ever-Living.
JUZ 29 closes Ramadhan with the call for da’wah.
Juz 29 gives a checklist on how to spread The Quran as “Hudan linnaas”; a Guide for all humanity.
Al Mulk : is reiterating our responsibility to spread the Quran far and wide, even with one ayah.
Al Qalam ayat 14 : tells us that da’wah with the best actions emanating from the best akhlak is way better than a thousand words.
Al Haqqah ayat 44-47 : deals with the integrity of person doing da’wah (da’ie) and the content of the da’wah
Nuh : inspiring the high standard for patience in da’wah
Al Jin : puts the stress on sound knowledge and good listening skills to have maximum input for da’wah
Al Muzzammil : stresses on the night worship when the Quran hits the heart of the da’ie before he goes out to touch others’ hearts
Al Muddaththir : talks of character building for the da’ie to be out of his comfort zone and to avoid bad character
Al Qiyamah : pushes for the commitment to learn from teachers and to source expert transmission of knowledge (talaqqi) from a mentor
Al Insan : tells us of the ultimate motivation for the da’ie is his eventual meeting with Allah SWT in the paradise of Zanjabila where Allah SWT will appreciate him for his services
Al-Mursalat Ayat 4-5 : likens the da’ie to raindrops that fall slowly and gently rejuvenating the dead earth
    Barakallaahu fikum.

In the Name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Merciful,
This is the prayer I received from my friend Gaza this morning it is the following:
“O Allah, our people in Gaza are in dire straits, their distress has intensified, and they have been shaken in Your path with a severe earthquake until their eyes have been dazed, their hearts have reached their throats and fear and hunger have reached their peak!! O Allah relieve them, have mercy on their weakness, mend their brokenness, take charge of their affairs, and support them whilst they are safe, victorious and empowered.”
Please do say Allahumma Ameen. This Dua is by Umm Firas who I have known now for most days a few months after the genocide, interacted with both her and her family.
And I had to remind Umm Firas of these ayats, but the reality she is reminding me of these ayats. May Allah answer her supplications and our supplications too. Allahumma Ameen.
